How It Works
Envisimed utilizes a 360° fisheye camera mounted in the procedure room that’s connected to its patented cloud-based imaging platform.
The HIPAA compliant platform enables remote collaborators to interact, in real-time, over the internet with a laptop, or a VR system for a more immersive interface. The remote user has control of the 360° view in the room, turning and zooming to see what they need to without interrupting the physician during the procedure.
The ability for the remote person to point and specifically identify something in the room and communicate with minimal transmission delays experienced with traditional collaboration tools allows for a more natural interaction that enables the remote user to provide the quality of support that high acuity medical device procedures require.
